MAKO Real Street Reunion at Throwdown in T-Town 2025!!
THIS IS SO EXCITING!!
Jeff Holloway posted a few days ago, so the cats out of the bag!! Who is signing up for the MAKO Real Street Reunion?????
Brendan Russel and Bob Bales have put together a Real Street class (daily driver’ish) to run at the Fall Throw Down in T-Town (Throwdown PLUS Dirt Down in T-Town 2025! at Tulsa Raceway Park) and will be calling it “MAKO Real Street” with my blessing.. I will be there to operate the class, (Do we need T-Shirts??) This is probably pretty close to what the MAKO Real Street was like at the beginning..

Real Street Rules
•Entry 75.00 Pre-Register first 32 Cars Only! Including Car, Driver and One Crew Member for both days, no refunds unless race cancels will have an alternate list. Send to Cash App $brussell9116 add contact info so I can get further information. I will keep a spreadsheet of entries and will publish updates once the list is full on the MAKO Tenfive FB page and Tulsa Raceway Park FB page.
•Vehicle can only be entered in one class.
• .500 Pro Tree, No Clocks, Google Random Draw updates
•You will get one test pass Friday night.
•Saturday will be going into eliminations no test passes. You will find out who you’re racing in the lanes.
•1st and 2nd round will be run back-to-back. Winners will return to staging lanes immediately with cars running, DO NOT SHUT YOUR CAR OFF. Going back to your pit will be immediate disqualification. Must be driven to and from the lanes no towing.
•Single power adder twin turbo’s ok, one (1) stage one (1) blower.
•Pump gas/E85 only no exceptions meth injection limited to air inlet only before power adder and before throttle body or both. Testing of fuel could happen if suspicion arises.
•Exhaust must go past drivers’ seat with mufflers, turbo acts as muffler. No fender, hood or whatever you dream of exits. No previous holes in fenders where exhaust used to exit when you were racing True Street, lol.
•Footbrake only, transbrake and 2 steps can’t be used.
•275/60/15 DOT Radial no slicks, pro brackets or bias ply. Cars running 17” or larger diameter wheel allowed up to 11.5” tread width.
•Wipers and heater functional, full factory appearing interior including back seat.
•Cages allowed
•Factory style wing only
•No parachute
•No pin on hoods or decklids, must have hood.
•Must be tagged and insured no dealer tags.
•No AWD/4x4 electric vehicles
•No gutted cut up race cars.
•Mako Staff reserves the right to make all final decisions.
