Surfing the net and Texting should not be done while driving so I would have to say if you were caught doing this racing you would be DQ'ed and band.

Secondly, Like I said above the information has as 7 to 10 second delay on Highspeed land lines so a phone is even slower, and even if it was not you can not make a change while driving 7 seconds later and make a differance it a race..

Stop worring, cut a light and have fun. This not to help anyone cheat.

Maybe he thinks the question is just too stupid to answer. That's like asking if you can text and race. While it is possible, you have to be an idiot to do it. Besides NHRA rules say you can not use a device to check the position of the race car on the track (which is what you would be doing).
