TOPIC: Cxpress Photography Leaving

Cxpress Photography Leaving 1 year, 7 months ago #3183

To All Racers- wanted to let you know that Jim and Lee have decided to move on to do other events, and try to have a regular life again after 9 years of being at the track. We have many dear friends at TRP and we have worked very hard to get those "launch" shots and even night shots, but times are changing and we need a vacation after 9 years. We are still in town and doing other events so we might may still run into you in town or maybe out of town. We are committed to do the Shelby, Pontiac and Mopar events at this time. And if other organizers would like for us to come out we'll see what we can do. We have some national car conventions on our horizon as well as a few trips - and of course Lee is redecordating the house and I'm getting back into my music playing.

Our website is still up and will continue to be, so we'll still take and process orders from there. Keith Mitchell will have any "winners" photos or orders that you may not have picked up at the track from past weeks, so see him at his trailer. If we've missed getting something to you, please just call - it may take us a while to get back to you since we both work - but we will return your call.

We really do appreciate all of you who have supported us for so long. We've seen quite a few kids grow up and new babies come into the TRP family. If you need a photographer for any thing, let us know, I'm set up to do just about anything. Jim - Lee White -- 918-625-5000.

Please see my topic thread from about 7 months ago: "Cxpress Photography" under General Topics

Although I most certainly understand this decision, Lee & Jim- you will be greatly missed.

In my opinion your crew cannot be replaced.
Not even the recent track pictures posted on Facebook, free for anyone to share, can hold a candle to the personal commitment, personal involvement and personal service you've provided for so many years.
No offense intended to the FB photos or the photographer/promoter behind them but TRP Winners pictures will be missing something special-Jim's smiling mug behind the lens and Lee running around tending to this, that and the other.

Just wanted you folks to know that you both haven't simply snapped, personalized and printed pictures for many of us. As special as it is to have an awesome momento like a Winner's photo (free) or receiving a free picture to commemorate a "dead-on dial" or "perfect reaction time," in the minds of most racing families I know and in the hearts of many of my racing friends, what is also memorable is how Cxpress went the extra mile and meant every one of congratulation & compliment.

You can bet this gal plans to look through the thousands of memories you've captured & listed on your website, again and again. These photos have been and will continue to be passed down from generation to generation in my family. Both of you are a part of that legacy-and for that, and so much more, I thank you. Will keep you in mind for other projects and always wish you the best in whatever may come your way

Jim and Lee there is nothing I can say but I am truely sorry to see you go. You will be so missed by all the racers and fans at TRP. and like Miss Kellie so greatly said, FB pictures are just not the same. You have been a great sponsor and an even better set of friends to me. I know you both will have some time to enjoy some quality time with each other (lol) and get some honey doo's done.

Dennis and I will keep in touch with you and pray for great things to open up for you.
