The new owners didn't sign the lease to keep the track open to loose money and bracet races don't bring out many spectators so let's discuss some ideas to make and keep the bracket program profitable and going for the next 5 years.

I always used to test and tune at the brackets. Kind of miss that. Some days I would just run for the time trails and others I would stick around and see if I could hang in the brackets.

I ran some of the big bracket races last year. My largest complaint was so much down time between classes. Never understood why one class didn't start right after the one prior had finished. I understand oil downs and saftey. I have no complaints with track prep time. Tulsa is incredible and fixing oil downs.

Seems like many years ago you all ran test and tune for a few hours and then started the brackets. Time trials were not done with classes, just a free for all. For some reason that changed, but I never really liked the change.

If you had open time trials you would get more people in the door which means more bucks for the brackets.

I haven't been to a bracket race in forever. But, if it's like at the TNT's, maybe they could start the next pairs' burnouts when the cars ahead leave. They always wait for the other cars to clear the track. Just an idea.

My ideas to speed it up.. well there is a lane in the middle of the staging lanes for a reason i assume so lets use it, when there is about 10-15 cars from the previous class in the front half make a lane call for the next class to the back of the lanes as soon as the last car leaves the front the next class pulls forward, that will take out all the time between classes.

They've already implemented two of those, they are going to start the burn out of the cars in the water box as soon as the cars tree goes green and they will be using the mid way line of the stagig lanes to call the next class to while they are finishing up with the current class, this will also stop straggelers because they will have cars in the lanes and won't be able to get to their class to be paired.

They are also going to make the run order so that there is time for people to run 2 classes but not cause a delay in running the classes.

Need someone working the back of the lanes as well as the front. Make rules & be consistent in enforcing them.
Tech; how about a twice a year inspection for the points racers. This would speed up tech & the long line of cars. I would think you could still catch outdated equipmet twice a year.
Ant thoughts on a splitting championships, Spring & Summer points champs.
Have a short pre-time trial run meeting with any out of town racers to explain TRP rules, or just give them a hand-out at the gate.
Spectator wise, this is a tuff one.
I would like to see more write-ups it the newspaper or online for TRP results.
This might sound corny, build up friendly rivalerys between the car makes & drivers. Get this in print or online.
Post weekly interviews with different drivers in all classes, this could be posted on the TRP website.
Post a blow by blow action of the previous weekend of racing at TRP on the website.
