No-E and Super Pro both are 1/8 mile again this year. In the beginning of this year 1/4 mile was seriously considered but after the meetings with the racers 1/8 was decided. Here is part of a message I received from Jimmy.

" several of the racers we talked to after the meeting and called us that we feel we could get more cars and have a better bracket program if we made all classes 1/8 then did all 1/4 mile racing at the index races".

And here is the thread announcing it on this forum.

I believe the confusion about the NHRA membership might come from the need for licenses if you run quicker than 9.99. You have to be a member to get the license, but not to just race if you are under the e.t. break for license requirements.

For those in question regarding the classes and rules they are posted. Jimmy, Todd and I have been over them and they are now the Official Rules for Bracket Racers. This is not a reprint of the past rules and classes. These are for 2014 Bracket Series. If you have questions and need more clarity you can call me at 918-371-5668 after 7pm or at any race I am usually at the staging lanes. I welcome your participation and hope to see you at Test N Tunes and Bracket races.
Bonnie and I hope to have a great year and keeping it fun for all.
