Thanks guys for the thoughts. It was one of those days that no matter what I did I just could not lose. Sure wish those days would happen more often!
Sure is fun racing with you guys and gals at TRP. The people that we become friends with while at the same time trying to beat them is what makes this such a unique sport. The last two times I had raced Randall I was .002 and .011 and LOST both times. This time it was just my turn to win. Any time you line up against Randall you have your work cut out for you. Nobody likes to lose, but Randall was 100% class after the race. Take a look at the winners circle photo.
Can't get off my soapbox without saying thanks to my coach and one of the best racers around, Jeff White. Got paired with Jeff at ten cars and thought "oh crap". He left first and was .017 then I left and was .006 and ran him down close to the stripe. Jeff loaded up and stayed around to help me with my dial-in and stuff. Probably would'nt have won without his help. Thanks Jeff.
