1976 Camaro Street Machine Project

I’ve decided to sell my 5 year slow project "again" due to personal health reasons.

This car is almost 100% complete to be road worthy and drivable, the body work was to be done after all of the mechanical. The 383 short block has recently been changed due to a hard freeze in Dec 09 that cracked the block. My original machinist swapped the parts from the cracked block to a new seasoned block with the same specs. I haven’t built the engine back up yet but I have all the parts to do it. When the original engine was running it sounded and drove very very strong, only had 3 hours run time and a mile or 2 on the road. Have many digital photos during build. Also have a bunch of receipts for parts.

Asking $6000 OBO (will not part out) serious inquiries only, if you’re looking for a great ground start for a 2nd generation Camaro this is well worth it, come see to appreciate. A couple thousand dollars after time and some TLC this will be a looker. Located in Owasso OK. Car will have to be trailored.

Below is one of those “too much to list” lists…but I listed it anyway.

Things it needs to be road worthy first:
- finish bolting stuff on engine
- full front suspension/steering alignment
- power steering pump (have newer lines)
- exhaust from headers back
- re-install complete front clip
- install hood (fiberglass 4 in cowl, older Harwood model unfinished belly)
- complete brake bleed (all new brakes)
- more engine, rear end, and tranny break-in
- has a clear title and a black tag

- has a few rust concerns where vinyl top was around lower rear window and roof
- rust on lower quarter panel about half dollar size
- rust on lower pass door (was going to re-skin, but repairable)
- minor dings and a few bigger dings
- 4 in cowl hood, older Harwood model unfinished belly (still have original hood)
- aluminum bumpers have nicks and scratches
- complete window trim
- different front header panel (original cracked at hood latch)
- no spoiler

- Corvette style Ralley’s w/rings and dog dish caps
- 15x10 rear w/295-50 (worn but work)
