Maybe turnout was affected by the way the diaper deal played out. You know, the "my way or the highway" attitude or the "I don't care if you bracket racers show up or not" kind of stuff. Also, as of today, the front page of the website under Bracket Classes still says that all cars 10.99 or quicker must have a diaper. Don't know if anybody reads that or not. Plus there have been plenty of rumors about diapers and some people don't bother to check it out.
In no-box, where were our friends from MoKan? Brian, Bubba, John, Steve, etc. Also, not many from Wichita or Ark City or Noble. Thanks to Jon, Chris, and Rocky it was not an all Tulsa bunch. Maybe fuel costs are a bigger deal than some think. It was a good purse for the entry fee, and I thought more would show up.
Maybe changing No-e to No-box has something to do with it. Several No-e racers weren't entered in No-box and told me it was because of the change to No-box.
I have read on this site that turnout for test and tune has been great. Somehow, we need to turn some of those people into racers. Maybe management should give free entry to the bracket race to some of them. Talk to Randall about the program he tried to start a couple of years ago.
