TOPIC: 1979 Malibu

1979 Malibu 1 year, 5 months ago #2560

Extremely nice 1979 Malibu. I built this car new about a year ago to run No-E. But can be run in Super Pro, Super Street or True Ten-Five class. It has 9 passes on it. Everything is new on car. Only the best parts. This Malibu is one of a very few (less than 3%) with the factory aluminum radiator core support. Very rare and saves lots of weight on the front end. It has mini tubs in rear so it can be run in stock suspension classes. Has a roll cage that will certify to 8.50. Currently running 28X10.5 true ten-five tires. Car is marina blue with ghost flames on fiberglass cowl hood. Brand new Lexan windows in doors. Carpeted inside with single racing seat. Lights work. Brand new Don Dial anti-roll bar on rear end. Car weighs 2760 race ready without driver. Last pass on footbrake was 10.95 at 119+mph. $18,000 or make offer. Car is beautiful and a lot of fun to race. No disappointments.
