What are they going to do for the racers ?? Really ?? How bout the fact they give you a track to race at ... Funny how easy people forget this time last year we were begging to not turn our track into a gravel pit . Now a year latter people are complaining over $100 they may or may not get. Wow
Maybe you forget that if it wasn't for racers they wouldn't need the track? I do appreciate the fact that they helped save it. Take a different look at it, instead of accusing me of just complaining. They need racers to come to race and spectators to watch to stay in business, correct? I'll assume you answered "Yes." Everyone knows that the economy sucks and it's tough for everyone to do extra things. And racing is expensive, we all know this. How long was the bad boy pass around before this year? I don't know the answer, but here is my outlook on it. Take myself for example. When I come to the track (which is VERY regularly) I usually have at least 1-2 people with me. That's $20 for my entry and another 10-20 for my spectators. If I had a bad boy pass the track would be missing out on $20 of my money for entry. I know there are several racers that won't come to the midnights because there's nothing in it for them. If they had a bad boy pass and then came, and the average racer with a bad boy pass brings 2 people, that's $20 entry for 2 specators that would not have been there otherwise. THAT is called bringing in business. So am I complaining for suggesting a way to bring in more business for the track, to help keep it profitable? As far as the fastest car, etc payout goes, why did they end that? Because again, that's the only incentive that anyone with a fast vehicle has to come to the midnights. It costs money to go fast. I'm pretty certain that the fans would rather watch a few more actual race cars at the midnights and not just the hondas and trucks.
