The NHRA King of the Track Championship bonus program is a onetime special event held at NHRA member tracks in conjunction with a weekly racing event or a newly created event.

Only tracks supporting the NHRA Summit Racing Series program are eligible to stage this event. Winners compete head to head with dials to become the King of the Track champion, who will receive an NHRA Wally and King of the Track hat. In addition, the winner's picture, if supplied, will be printed in National DRAGSTER.

Since 2002, National DRAGSTER, the weekly publication of the National Hot Rod Association, has presented its popular National DRAGSTER Challenge for E.T. bracket racers at NHRA member tracks. The winner of each event is rewarded with a special-edition pewter Wally trophy, the most coveted prize in drag racing.

Once again, NHRA is offering member tracks an opportunity to participate in a program geared specifically toward Jr. drag racers, the NHRA Summit Jr. Drag Racing League Challenge. Drivers will compete for special-edition trophies and will receive recognition in Jr. DRAGSTER if their tracks provide coverage.
