In an effort to further its support of hardcore drag racing, Tim McAmis Performance Parts (TMPP) has announced that its infamous Trackside Support Team will be attending the highly-anticipated Throw Down in T-Town event contested at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park on October 11th and 12th.
The incredible two-day event created by professional racers Keith Haney and Todd Martin, features massive car counts, impressive fan turnout a tremendous $50,000 guaranteed payout. The Throw Down in T-Town provides plenty of action with a variety of classes, including Outlaw Pro Mod, Legal Pro Mod, Outlaw 10.5, X275 and many more. Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park is known for attracting professional competitors from all over the country and this year’s Throw Down is expected to be better than ever.
“We have heard great things regarding the Throw Down in T-Town and cannot wait to enjoy it live for the first time,” Tim McAmis said. “Keith and Todd have done an outstanding job promoting drag racing in the Midwest, and we want to support the track and racers in any way we can.”

Looking to add extra incentives for Thrown Down participants, TMPP will offer $250 certificates as prize for low qualifiers in Legal and Outlaw Pro Mod. Furthermore, TMPP is posting contingency of $250 and $100 to the winner and runner-up of both classes where the competitor has purchased a chassis or body from the company.
“Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park is excited to have a chassis shop and performance parts supplier of Tim’s caliber being a part of the Osage Casino Throw Down in T-Town,” remarked track owner Keith Haney. “This says a lot about the event which continues to grow every year. We believe a lot of the success is based on the fact that our experience as racers plays a large role in how we run our events. Last May we had 152 race cars attend and we expect even more on October 11th and 12th.”
In addition to the monetary prizes offered by TMPP, the company will be attending the event with their renowned Trackside Support transporter. The rolling warehouse features thousands of products racers may need from nuts, bolts, hoses and fittings to safety items, batteries and more. Along with an extensive line of products, the Trackside Support Team will offer racers assistance with welding, fabrication, repairs and a number of other services throughout the event.
“We have always taken pride in the services and parts provided through our mobile performance shop. By having our Trackside Support Team at the Throw Down in T-Town, we hope to assist as many racers as possible,” McAmis commented.
