Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park thrives on putting on the best show available. Because of this, TRP will be bringing the LARGEST PAYOUT for a X275 and Radial vs World event.
"We feel for the first time in the state of Oklahoma, the heavy hitters in the X275 & Radial vs World will be coming to the Midwest for the chance of winning the largest purse ever offered in the Drag Radial World," said Keith Haney, TRP owner and event promoter.
The X275 style of racing has been popular in the southeastern United States and for Haney, the chance to host to this group of racers excites him.
"The X275 & Radial vs World reign has been going on for a couple of years in the Deep South, and East coast, and is currently the most dominating Drag Radial class in the world right now," Haney explained. "The X275 & Radial vs World classes has a real heavy fan base, and has become the classes to watch for in 2014, and will be a great addition to TRP."
Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park will be hosting this great race July 17-19th.

Richard Schroeder originally built the Emergency West twin-engine wheelstander in 1985 and campaigned it for a number of years before his passing in 2007. The loss of the elder Schroeder, however, opened a brand new chapter, as his son, Chris, retrieved the truck from storage and took possession of it with the intent of returning it to its former wheel-standing glory.
Chris Schroeder joined forces with a gentleman known only as Desperado, and his team at North-side Choppers in Bartlett, Ill., and together they've invested countless, painstaking man hours to restore the Emergency West pickup to its original running condition. Featuring a pair of 520 cubic inch, supercharged power-plants with a combined 3,500 horsepower mounted in the bed, Emergency West is slated to make its return to the drag-strip in 2013 with a full schedule of events all across the country with Desperado at the wheel.
Emergency West is one of the most unique exhibition vehicles on the world. Whether it’s the two alcohol burning engines with 3500 horsepower, the flame show, the light show or raising the front end in the air over the quarter mile, fans are amazed at the show.
