2014 Hot Rod Drag Week Schedule is Here! Plus a New Heads-Up Shootout! The 10th Annual Running of the Baddest Showdown in Street-Car Racing

The 10th Annual HOT ROD Drag Week schedule is here! The event will once again be presented by Gear Vendors, and HOT ROD is happy to announce these dates and locations:

Sunday September 7, 2014: Registration & Test ‘n Tune; Tulsa Raceway Park, Tulsa, OK

Monday September 8, 2014: Day 1 Racing; Tulsa Raceway Park

Tuesday September 9, 2014: Day 2 Racing; Heartland Park, Topeka, KS

Wednesday September 10, 2014: Day 3 Racing; Thunder Valley Raceway Park, Noble, OK

Thursday September 11, 2014: Day 4 Racing; S.R.C.A. Drag Strip, Great Bend, KS

Friday September 12, 2014: Day 5 Finals; Tulsa Raceway Park, Tulsa, OK

Saturday, September 13, 2014: SPECIAL 10TH ANNIVERSARY DRAG WEEK HEADS-UP EVENT; Tulsa Raceway Park, Tulsa, OK

And now for even more tidbits:

Note that Saturday, September 13th is being held for a special heads-up racing event to celebrate the 10th running of HOT ROD Drag Week. It’ll be at Tulsa Raceway Park, and we guarantee that no Drag Week participant or fan is going to want to miss it. All the details are coming in a week or two, so watch HOTROD.com for news.

Specific race times for each day will be announced soon.

Spectators will be welcome at all locations and days; pricing to come.

For 2014, the winners of the top three positions in each class will receive an email with a special limited-time link that will allow them to register online in advance of when general registration opens to the public.

Watch HOTROD.com for an announcement that will give at least a week’s advance notice of the date when general registration will go live online.

The 2014 Drag Week entry limit is anticipated to be 260 cars. Registration will be non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Rules will remain unchanged for Drag Week 2014 with the exception of the Hot Rod and Gasser classes, which will have revisions. Details coming soon. Some procedural rules may change. Watch HOTROD.com for the posting of a complete 2014 rules document.
